Mission of People Service
Life Center People Services (LCPS) stands out with its unique mission. LCPS seeks to help the under-insured and uninsured, those who cannot afford their high copays and/or deductibles as well as those who have been waitlisted to overcome life challenges and trauma that may hinder one from living their full potential and purpose in life.
LCPS is also an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Provider to staff of high-risk jobs (first responders, DSS, Domestic Violence Shelter, Group Home, Mental Health/Substance Abuse counselors, etc.) to help prevent burn-out and to provide support in overcoming vicarious traumas from the job.

What Do We Do?
1. Job Services-. Life Center People Services’ Job Services Program strives to increase career readiness amongst community members through resume development, assistance with completing job applications, and interview preparation.

2. Mental Health Counseling-LCPS seeks to provide mental health counseling for free to the participants through grant funding (only the under-insured qualify, those who can afford a small scale fee rate), for short-term mental health counseling and referred out if longer and/or more intensive treatment is needed.
​
3. Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Mental Health Counseling-LCPS strives to help prevent burn-out and to provide support in overcoming vicarious traumas from the job.
